Its been such a long long time since MTV has produced anything decent. It was taken over by corporations looking for that target audience of 11-13 year olds a long time ago. You know, those kids hooked on ritalin and with access to their parents' income. The last decent thing on that network was probably Yo MTV Raps. Until now.
Human Giant is actually pretty damn hilarious. Its edgy, but smart- which is a rare combination these days, especially on MTV. With many talented performers (including the beloved Rob Riggle). Its just a bunch of skits. As with any sketch shows, many of them aren't funny. But quite a few exemplify something smart, and something you definitely don't see anymore on SNL. Reminds me of the Upright Citizens Brigade.
