Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

I am a ridiculously huge fan of Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. I was expecting it to be another awful retread of the American Pie-esque grossout comedies that have been so prevalent in the last few years. Don't get me wrong, the writers definitely have an immature bend to some of their jokes. But the dialogue is smart and the characters are extremely likable and hilarious. I was definitely looking forward to the sequel.

While not on the same level of hilarity of the original, Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay is well worth your time. This adventure finds Harold and Kumar right where we left off with them. They're fixing to head to Amsterdam to find Harold's object of affection, and possibly smoke a little weed. They head to the airport where they run into Kumar's ex-girlfriend Vanessa, who is about to marry some waspy douchebag named Colson. This isn't like Vanessa, who is Kumar's wild ex. He is obviously put aback by the whole situation.

On the plane, Kumar gets mistaken for a muslim terrorist, and his smokeless bong for an explosive device. In comes Agent Ron Fox (Rob Corddry), a man whose goal is to stop the next terrorist attack. Harold and Kumar become priority number one for this inept government agent, and they are sent to Guantanamo Bay where they are almost forced to suck big Bob's cock sandwich until they escape with Cubans to Miami where there is a bottomless party and they head into Alabama and meet a cyclops then they of course run into Neal Patrick Harris until there is a whorehouse and President Bush smoking weed. Its quite an adventure.

This movie is really fun, and actually quite sweet when it comes to the Kumar- Vanessa love story. Kal Penn does an always amazing job, and Rob Corddry is a godsend who wipes his ass with the bill of rights. Its pretty damn funny.
