DIGITAL PLAYGROUND TO RELEASE 8 NEW BLU-RAY(TM) TITLES IN FEBRUARY
Studio's First Blu-ray(TM) Title, "Pirates" Streets January 11th
January 7, 2008 --- Van Nuys, Calif. --- A true pioneer to the genre, Digital Playground plans to release eight of its hottest-selling titles on the high definition Blu-ray(TM) format in February 2008. The upcoming releases are the first to follow the studio's premiere Blu-ray(TM) title, "Pirates" the record-breaking, multi-award-winning adult feature that recently shipped on January 4th and will street on January 11th.
The first Blu-ray(TM) release slate is the first in an aggressive release schedule to satisfy the increased HD consumer demand resulting from all the new Blu-ray(TM) player and PS3(TM) gift recipients this holiday. New Blu-ray(TM) titles slated for release include: "Island Fever 4," "Babysitters," "Island Fever 3," "Jack's Teen America 3," "Jesse Jane: Sexual Freak," "Hush," "Contract Star" and "Jesse Jane in Pink." Among the studio's impressive selection are several receiving 2008 AVN Awards nominations. Celebrated titles include, "Babysitters" with five nods for Best High Definition Production, Best All Girl Sex Scene, Best Couples Sex Scene, Best Oral Sex Scene and Best Vignette Release; and "Hush" for Best Art Direction. All behind-the-scenes and bonus features on Blu-ray(TM) titles are also available in HD 1080p.
