(Dirty Dancing, Road House), Point Break is regarded as one of the touchstone action films of the early ‘90s, ushering in the age of extreme sports with its hard-edged depiction of surfing and skydiving and celebrating the adrenaline-junkie culture in a gritty and quintessentially quotable crime drama. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow (Near Dark, Blue Steel), the film also stars Oscar®-nominee Gary Busey (Best Actor, The Buddy Holly Story, 1979), John C. McGinley (TV’s “Scrubs”) and Lori Petty (Tank Girl, In The Army Now), as well as a special cameo appearance by Anthony Kiedis of The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
