(December 1, 2008) – Press “play” on February 3, 2009 as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist on Blu-ray, ($39.95), DVD ($28.96) and PSP ($24.94). Based on the book by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan of the same name, Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist features a fantastic on-the-pulse cast that includes Michael Cera (Juno, Superbad) as Nick, Kat Dennings (The House Bunny, The 40 Year Old Virgin) as Norah, Ari Graynor (An American Crime, Mystic River), Aaron Yoo (The Wackness, 21) and Rafi Gavron (“Rome”) with cameos by indie musicians Devendra Banhart, The Nellie Olesons and Bishop Allen.
The Blu-ray and DVD include a host of rockin’ special features including commentary with the cast: Michael Cera, Kat Dennings and Ari Graynor, numerous deleted scenes, a blooper reel, featurettes, storyboard comparisons, faux interviews with the talent, a photo gallery and Bishop Allen’s music video of “Middle Management,” commentary with director Peter Sollett, authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan and screenwriter Lorene Scafaria, and a Digital Copy of the movie for playback on PSP™ and iTunes.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray Disc are the following special features: Cinechat, a new Sony Blu-ray feature that allows viewers to send instant on-screen messages to their friends around the world while watching the film, “Nick & Norah’s Interactive Playlist” where viewers can learn fun trivia about the movie and also create and share personalized playlists featuring music from the film, and a telestrator commentary featuring audio and illustrated commentary with director Peter Sollett, Michael Cera, Kat Dennings and Ari Graynor.
Synopsis
After a chance encounter, Nick and Norah embark on a journey through New York’s indie rock scene on a quest to find the secret show of a legendary band, and wind up finding each other.
